WHY JOIN THE CHAMBER

The Chamber’s vision is to “foster a strong economic environment through partnerships with government, community and businesses” so that the “businesses and citizens of Holbrook” might experience an “enhanced and better quality of life.” So reads the preamble to our Chamber’s by-laws. Translated: We want to see things going well in our city: thriving businesses, good government and a community in which every person might experience a part of the American dream.

To that end the Chamber, by itself or partnering with others, advertises the benefits of living and working in, as well as visiting Holbrook. We conduct business gatherings and training series to help our business community engage well with customers, resident and tourist alike. We help people to connect with each other—networking to everyone’s mutual benefit. We cooperate with the City and other organizations to see that a variety of events gets done well, e.g. Healthy Holbrook Clean Up, Old West Days, and many holiday activities and parade.

Whenever there’s something of significance happening in our city, the Chamber is either directly involved or helping to get-the-word-out concerning it. In other words, we’re both worker bee and cheerleader for the various and sundry happenings in Holbrook because, you see, we live here, too. We want to experience “an enhanced and better quality of life,” along with you.

Whether you’re a corporate entity, a small business, a governmental agency, a non-profit organization or simply a concerned citizen, we’d like you to join our Chamber, partnering with us so that all of us, together, can live well and prosper. So, why join the Chamber? It’s the right thing to do!
